Snow Canyon, St. George 1/2 Marathon

Rob ran his first 1/2 marathon, he's been training for it for 10 weeks now! He wanted to run it in less than 1:50:00 and his time was 1:49:00, so he accomplished his goal!! HIs sister Amy ran it with him and also his friend Billy, they all did such a good job! Now he has the running bug and is going to do another 1/2 marathon. He's going to run in the Ogden 1/2 on May 15th. I was so proud of him for accomplishing this and after the race Baylee came up to him and said " good job running dad." So cute!

HALLOWEEN 2009

^CINDERELLA & A CUTE LITTLE DALMATION!
^ GIVE ME CANDY!!!

ZION'S NATIONAL PARK!!

We went to Zion's with my family over UEA Weekend or Fall break whatever its called these days!! Anyways it was a lot of fun. We took Baylee, with she was so excited to go and she had no clue where she was going!! All week we kept saying we were going to Zion's with Grandma and the kids!! (Ethan wasnt invited he had to stay home with grandma Shrock). We've been to Zion's several times and it keeps on amazing me!! It is so beautiful there, but this is the first time that we have stayed in a hotel, usually we camp, and i do have to say it was worth the money! :) Rob was mister Stud, cause he hiked all 25 pounds of Baylee on the hikes we went on!! On sunday it was so windy, it was crazy!! We started to hike Observation point (it overlooks Angel's Landing), but we didnt make it all the way to the top, because the people coming down said that the wind gust were 60-70mph at the top and it was too risky to make it!! I said lets just go until one of the kids blow off then we will know when to turn around, hehehe just kidding!! Anyway we had a great time! Love going on trips with the Family!!

THE SPIRAL JETTY!!!

Ok so I have never even heard of this place and then I saw some pictures on my friends Facebook, and thought it looked pretty cool. So I decided that we needed to go on an adventure! So the Spiral Jetty is rocks that make a "spiral" that goes out on the Great Salt Lake. Below is a slide show of the pictures that I took out there. It was way cool to see and it took us about an hour and a half to get out there.
Let me just explain that we are not white trash and we did have a shirt on Baylee.
This is the other part of our adventure!! Ok so going out to it is way bumpy and rocky road and we were bumping along and Baylee asks me for something so I turn aroung to give it to her, just in time to see her start throwing up all over herself and the carseat!! So Rob pulls over, Rob gets her out of her carseat to clean it up (cause seriously I cannot deal with throw up, i was dry heaving the whole time). So anyway we had a extra pair of underwear and shorts, but no SHIRT!!!
So that is why in all the pictures Baylee is going topless!! Other than the throw up, it was a pretty fun day and very interesting to go out to see!!

THE ZOO AND LAGOON!!

Three sleepy heads up camping at Smith and Morehouse.

Baylee's first trip without her mom and dad.

Guess her bed just wasnt comfortable enough?!

ONLY PICTURE!

This is the only picture we have of timpangos cave! Our friend Becca took
it of us inside the cave!

TIMPANGOS CAVE (spelling?)

So today we went with Rob's family to hike up to timpangos cave!! We had it planned like 2 weeks in advance because you have to make reservations! So we are heading down there and I realize that I left my camera at home!!!!! So mad!!! So i dont have any pictures for you, but let me tell I need to go back to get pictures cause it was so amazingly beautiful! Anyway back to my story. So we get there and Rob is back packing it Baylee and I have Ethan, which was fun...10 extra pounds I get to hike up the mountain! So its perfect weather hiking up its cool and overcast, maybe a few sprinkles but nothing bad. We get up to the cave and Rob says "Just wait its nice now, but when we get out its gonna be a down pour and we will have to hike down in that!" So we go in and see the awesome cave, seriously way cool. If ya havent done it before ya need to! Well we get out of the cave and luckliy we see no rain, but the clouds are getting darker and they're heading our way. Plus we can hear thunder off in the distance! Well we are about 3/4 of the way down and it starts raining not too bad, we can handley this drizzle the whole way down! We get to the 1/2 way point and the heavens opened and complete downpour on us i mean pelting rain!! I start running down i cover ethan up with my jacket, im getting drenched from head to toe. My shoes are soaked through and they are squishy, the thunder was so loud and the lightening was cool (glad it wasnt close). So needless to say we made it down to the vistors center, but were completely drenched. So then Rob tells me that there was a rock slide up close to the cave and it would take 4 hours to clean it up!! So those poor people who were still up there going through the cave had to wait up there until they got it taken care of!! Crazy, so glad we got out when we did!! Anyway that was our fun adventure and I love it. It will be a good memory for us! Baylee was so good the whole time even though she got drenched she loved it!!
I love that we can have fun times like these with people that we love!!
ps.
I wish i had pictures!! SORRY!!

Good Qoute!!

Ok I saw this qoute on a friends blog the other day and I feel that I need to share because its such a good one!
