We then went on to Nauvoo and there we went to the Temple which was gorgeous inside!! They have hard wood floors and everything inside is built exactly the way it would have been when the Saint built it back in 1846.We went around to all of the different homes in Nauvoo. We saw Joseph's Smiths home and their family cemetery. We saw Brigham Youngs home, Wilford Woodruffs home, etc..... Basically we saw a lot of homes.
We also went to Carthage Jail and that was a neat experience in the picture above that is the Door that was shot through that killed Hyrum and Joseph. And that's the bullet hole, it was really neat to see. We had a really good time there. Although towards the end of the trip the houses all start to look the same!!!
